Joining Ginny today for a wednesday yarn along...
I've been reading the Fellowship of the Ring and thoroughly enjoying it. There's honestly nothing like a high fantasy adventure story in the summertime.
My knitting has been a bit on the backburner this summer. Too many things to do. I have been crocheting a hexagon blanket and it's such a joy to make. I love using up more of the acrylic bin.
I also started a wrap last weekend that's going to be one of those I'm-so-glad-I-made-this projects. It's Wheaten by Anne Hanson, published in Wool People Vol. 5. I'm using Palette yarn from Knit Picks in the Pennyroyal colourway. It's a soft dove purple/grey. I love it already.
Life's a bit of a ramble... Just following the path my curiosity takes and sharing it here...

Pretty! You will be glad you've knit that wrap. It'll be especially warm and cozy in the long winters!
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteI found you through Yarn Along.
I loved reading The Lord of the Rings trilogy!
Beautiful knitting, the lace looks so delicate.
Hooray! Howz my favorite Saucy?
ReplyDeleteWhen you are done with that pretty wrap you must fiercely rock that baby like the model on its project page. You are patient to read that series. I only read The Hobbit and the tiny print drove me nuts. I did see all the movies which were cinematically gorgeous and so well thought out altho I did yell at Frodo in the last film as he was tickin' me off about dumpin' that ring.
Sooo pretty, I love the yarn you are using.
