Cheveron Chapeau

I had the pleasure to test knit Knitting Knirvana's newest pattern, the Cheveron Chapeau recently and I love this hat! What a versitile, fun pattern.

The sizing ranges from baby to adult large which is seriously cool for a hat pattern (you could make one for everyone you know!) and the colour combo ideas are endless I tell you! In fact I'm thinking of a scrappy version, which I'm going to have to cast on asap...

I knit the adult large size with B in mind but almost before I bound off I knew that this would make a great slouchy hat for me.

Like I said, it's a cute easy pattern that uses just small amounts of leftover worsted weight yarn. I used half a skein of Lark in the gingerbread colourway and about 75 yards of a mystery lambs wool that I've had for ages (love this stuff).

Even better, Suzanne has a coupon code up for a limited time... "You can purchase it on Ravelry for $4, but use this special coupon code (thankyou) that will give you a dollar off though Saturday April 13, 2013."

I know, I'm cute...
I had a fun little photo shoot with the Superstar before super tonight. I seriously think I'll be wearing this hat for the rest of the winter/spring.
