Ahhh Pinterest... I can go for weeks without ever logging on but then I slip and spend whole days surfing the site, pinning things that look great or that I want to try.
Today I thought I'd share something with you. I have a board I call Natural Home and in it I pin recipes for household cleaners and homemade beauty products, anything that I can make myself using natural ingredients.
I pinned a tip for a nicer smelling vinegar ages ago. It's really easy (according to the pin), you fill a mason jar with orange peels and cover them with white vinegar. In 2 weeks you're supposed to have an orange smelling vinegar to use in your spray bottle for when you clean counters, bathrooms, the kitchen table, etc...
So here's my attempt, day 1...
I need to pick up a few more spray bottles for under the sink but super I'm excited to try this. Odd eh?
But wait... I've got more pins, lots more. I hope to try most of them and share them with you. I'm sure there will be some epic fails but the gems will be worth it I think.
What are your favorite natural products?
By the way, that's one of my goals this year, to phase out my chemical cleaners and sub in nicer homemade ones. Laundry soap is next on my list... post coming soon :)
Life's a bit of a ramble... Just following the path my curiosity takes and sharing it here...
